Dustin Belt: What I Was Not Taught About The Music Industry

Hello you beautiful musician, I hope you're having a splendid day : )

I'm curious... Have you been working in the music industry for many years? Or been perfecting your craft for a while now? Or maybe you're new to making music? No matter what stage you're at, I think we can all agree, there is no roadmap for success in the music industry. Are there do's and don'ts? Of course! But is there one right way to do something... nope.

I had the honor to sit down with Musician Guidance mentor Dustin Belt, and ask him a very interesting question.

To provide some background, Dustin Belt is a Billboard charting producer, songwriter and guitarist. Throughout his career, he has toured and performed with music's biggest stars, including Selena Gomez, Cody Simpson, Andy Grammer & Big Time Rush.

In addition to that, he has also performed for the Obama Administration, on the Ellen Show and in over 30 countries!

Given his success and experience, I wanted to find out what he learned from over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, that he was not taught, but what he believe would be benefits to yourself. This clip is from the full podcast that was done with Dustin Belt and hosted by Mack, which members can watch in full here.

I hope you enjoy and find some value in the below clip : )
