So, whether you're just starting out or you've been playing music for years, this blog post is for you!

The first step in getting your songs on the radio is to create a demo, which is a recording of your song that you can send to radio stations - make sure the demo is polished and of high quality. A demo created by voice memos, or recorded with your phone will not get your far.

Instead, be sure to record your song in a studio or at home (with professional equipment).

Once you have recorded your song, you will need to find a radio station that plays music similar to your own. Let's repeat that. You will need to find a radio station that plays music similar to your own.

NO STATION is going to accept and play your song if it does not match their style.

When you have found a radio station that focuses on similar music to yours, you will then need to submit your demo to them.

The next step in getting your songs on the radio is to promote your music. To promote your music, you can send emails or postcards to radio stations. You can also contact DJs and ask them to play your songs.

If you're able to form a relationship with the radio manager or music director, you will give yourself a much better chance for success.

One way to build a relationship with the radio manager or music director is to get involved with the radio station, which could include volunteering at the station.

The final step in getting your songs on the radio is to be patient. It can take months or even years to get your songs on the radio, which while not ideal, if you follow these steps, continue to promote your music, and network with stations that play similar music as yours, there is a good chance you will get your song(s) on the radio.

Good luck!
